SCOTTSDALE, AZ - February 27, 2006 - Vcommerce Corporation, a leader in on-demand commerce and fulfillment solutions, today announces the appointment of Bret E. Lawson as the company’s Chief Financial Officer. With over twenty years of experience in public accounting and senior executive roles in established and high-growth companies, Mr. Lawson will lead all finance and administration functions for the company.

Prior to joining Vcommerce, Mr. Lawson was Vice President and Controller of CacheFlow Inc, based in Sunnyvale, CA, a leading manufacturer of intelligent network appliances that manage and accelerate the delivery of content over the Internet. He was instrumental in their highly-successful initial public offering in 1999 and in supporting the company’s rapid growth. Mr. Lawson, a CPA licensed in California, has also held various international financial management positions and has seven years of public accounting experience. Mr. Lawson graduated with Phi Beta Kappa and Beta Gamma Sigma honors from the University of California, Berkeley, where he earned a B.S. in business administration.
Vcommerce is also pleased to announce the appointment of Tom Cowan, currently CEO of Vecker Corporation (Austin, TX), to its board of directors.

Cowan is the former Chairman, President and CEO for OutlookSoft Corporation where he built the company into a significant competitor in the business performance management (BPM) space and led the organization to ten-times revenue growth during his three-year tenure. Prior to OutlookSoft, Cowan oversaw the reorganization of a number of companies. During the acquisition of Tivoli Systems by IBM, he was the senior IBM executive responsible for transitioning Tivoli from an independent public company to a subsidiary of IBM. Additionally, Cowan led the redesign and implementation of IBM’s worldwide pricing practices for hardware, software and services during the early part of Lou Gerstner’s and Jerry York’s leadership of IBM. Cowan holds a BA from Wake Forest University and an MBA from the University of South Carolina.
